Pre-launch privacy notice

Scope: this notice applies only to the PHENIA early-access form on this pre-launch site. The site does not currently collect DNA results, biological samples, health records or wearable data.

Before public deployment: add PHENIA’s legal controller name, postal address and working privacy contact email. Those details are currently UNKNOWN and have deliberately not been invented here.

What we collect

If you join early access, we collect the email address you submit, the interest category you select, your consent to receive pre-launch updates, and technical form data processed by the website host as needed to operate and protect the form.

Why we use it

We use this information to send PHENIA pre-launch updates, manage pilot interest and respond to potential customer, partner, laboratory, technology or investor interest. Marketing updates are sent on the basis of the consent you provide through the form.

Who processes the form

The site is designed to use Netlify Forms when deployed on Netlify. Netlify may process form submissions and related technical data as a service provider. PHENIA should document any additional processors before public launch.

How long we keep it

Pre-launch list data should be kept only for as long as it is needed for the pre-launch programme or until you withdraw consent, subject to any limited records that must be retained for legal or compliance purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may also give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal information and to request data portability.

Genetic and health data

This pre-launch form does not request genetic or health data. Genetic data and health data can receive additional protection under UK data-protection law. PHENIA’s live testing service will require a separate, detailed privacy and consent framework before any customer samples or genetic/health information are accepted.

Complaints

Once controller contact details are published, concerns should first be raised with PHENIA. Individuals in the UK also have the right to raise data-protection concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Status

PHENIA is pre-launch. This notice is intentionally limited to early-access data and must be completed with the legal controller and privacy contact details before the form is made public.
