I started measuring everything I could.
Nutrition, protein, training, recovery, blood sugar, muscle building, fat loss, sleep and the everyday decisions that affected how I felt and performed.
I wanted to build something that could help people understand themselves sooner — without years of trial and error, and without personal genetic insight feeling financially out of reach.
In 2022, I developed pericarditis and later spent 22 days in a coma. That experience changed how I thought about health, my body and how much there still was to understand.
Nutrition, protein, training, recovery, blood sugar, muscle building, fat loss, sleep and the everyday decisions that affected how I felt and performed.
The more I researched DNA testing, the more it felt like an important layer — but one that was still complicated or too expensive for many people to use meaningfully.
As AI evolved, I saw the possibility of translating an interpreted genetic profile into an ongoing conversation: questions about food, coffee, training, sleep, travel, recovery and the things that come up in real life.
PHENIA was created so more people can access personal genetic insight and keep exploring it as their questions change — without pretending DNA has every answer.
